Farmer's Cottage in Vineyard

This small painting captures an autumn afternoon of painting in the midst of fields in Provence --in the Luberon area. It was painted while enjoying the warmth of late September as the seasonal colors were changing. I can still recall how felt painting this with the sunlight on my shoulders and my fellow plein air painters nearby. Such a sense of community and pleasure alone, yet together.
