Beyond Flowing Fields

Flow as a theme can refer to many different aspects of a landscape. Fields flow. Clouds flow. And waterways, oceans, beaches, lakes and rivers, waterfalls and simple streams all flow.  This painting depicts a flowing creek coming from an inlet and on across the lowlands.  The colors in any season are rich and also subtle.  I enjoyed painting this scene and love sitting by a gurgling brook painting as the sun glistens on the little waters.
